How to Use Easihold
Follow our simple step-by-step guide to achieve a strong, long-lasting finish for decorative stone and mulch.
The Spray Method
The spray method is recommended for mulch and existing decorative stones and is the most efficient way to apply Easihold.
Simply spray Easihold evenly across the surface, compact the material, then apply a final coat for a strong and reliable finish.
When correctly applied, Easihold can provide protection that lasts up to 3 years.
What You'll Need
Make sure you have the correct equipment ready before starting. Using the right tools will help you achieve an even, professional finish.
Spray the First Coat
Use the Easihold Airless Sprayer to apply an even coat directly onto the stones or mulch.
Hold the nozzle approximately 8–12 inches above the surface and spray using overlapping passes.
Cover the area evenly, ensuring the stones or mulch are saturated without flooding or creating pools of product.
For best results and to prevent sprayer clogging, submerge the sprayer nozzle in warm water between applications. This helps prevent the glue from hardening in the nozzle and blocking the sprayer.
Compact & Set
Once the first coat has been applied, use a trowel or flat instrument to compact and level the stones or mulch.
This helps create a stable, even surface and ensures the material is positioned correctly before the final coat is applied.
Allow the area to settle for approximately 30 minutes before applying the second coat.
Spray the Final Coat
Repeat the spraying process from Step 1 to apply the final coat evenly across the surface.
Ensure the entire area receives an even application without excessive pooling.
Once complete, allow the area to fully dry before walking on the surface or placing furniture or other objects onto it.

Keep the Surface Clean & Dry
Ensure stones or mulch are clean and dry before application. The surface should be prepared and ready before spraying begins.
Tape Off the Area
Use tape around the application area to help create a neat, tidy finish and prevent unwanted product from reaching surrounding surfaces.
Wear Gloves
Wear suitable gloves while applying Easihold to help keep your hands clean during the application process.
Remove Spillage
If Easihold gets onto an unwanted area, use a stiff brush and hot water to remove the product.
Clean Your Sprayer
Flush your airless sprayer thoroughly with hot water after every use.
