Transform your outdoor space with Stone-In-One.
Easihold Stone-In-One is an innovative, ready-to-use water-based resin bound surfacing kit designed for both horizontal and vertical landscaping applications.
It combines a pre-mixed aggregate blend with Easihold binder technology and a dedicated tack coat, plus 1m² of Easihold SRM (structural reinforcement mesh) for horizontal application, giving you a straightforward alternative to traditional systems that require measuring, mixing and specialist preparation.
Create a decorative, hard-wearing finish across a wide range of outdoor landscaping projects.
Stone-In-One is designed for both horizontal and vertical applications on appropriate prepared surfaces, giving you the flexibility to create a consistent decorative finish throughout your outdoor space.
The kit includes 1m² of Easihold SRM (structural reinforcement mesh) for horizontal floor applications. SRM is developed using technology to reinforce earth structures. It can be applied over suitable prepared surfaces such as concrete, loose stone, gravel and most paving structures to help mitigate movement and subsequent reflective cracking.
Stone-In-One has been developed to make water-based resin bound surfacing more accessible to homeowners.
Use a roller, brush or suitable application tool to apply a thin, even layer of the supplied tack coat.
Work in manageable sections and apply the pre-mixed aggregate directly onto the prepared surface.
Use a trowel to spread, smooth and lightly knit the aggregate together to create an even finished surface.
Once cured, Easihold Stone-In-One forms a durable, hard-wearing and impact-resistant surface designed for external landscaping applications.
Stone-In-One is fully UV stable, helping the finished surface withstand exposure to sunlight.
HARD-WEARING FINISHDesigned for long-lasting external decorative applications.

Each Stone-In-One kit includes the pre-mixed aggregate blend, dedicated tack coat and 1m² of Easihold SRM (structural reinforcement mesh) for horizontal application. The kit provides approximately 1m² coverage at the recommended 8–12mm application depth.
Choose the finish that best suits your outdoor space from our four colours:
For the best results, Stone-In-One should be applied in suitable weather conditions and to an appropriate prepared surface.
The top layer cures first while the underlying material continues to strengthen. Cure times can vary according to application depth, temperature, humidity and weather conditions.
Three clear guides to help you prepare, apply and finish your Stone-In-One project.
For suitable solid, prepared bases such as concrete and stable paving slabs. SRM (structural reinforcement mesh) is required. Each kit includes pre-mixed Stone-In-One, a dedicated tack coat and 1m² of SRM. For solid horizontal applications, SRM must be used to support strength and longevity and installed in accordance with the supplied mesh instructions.
For suitable solid, prepared bases such as concrete and stable paving slabs.
Each kit includes 1m² of SRM for horizontal application. SRM helps mitigate surface movement and subsequent reflective cracking. To support strength and longevity, it must be used on solid horizontal bases and installed in accordance with the supplied instructions for your chosen base.
Make sure the surface is suitable, stable, clean, dry and free from dust, dirt and contaminants before beginning the application.
Apply a thin, even layer of the supplied tack coat using a suitable roller, brush or application tool. Work in manageable sections of approximately 0.3m².
After applying the tack coat, lay the supplied SRM (structural reinforcement mesh) over the prepared horizontal base. Follow the supplied mesh installation instructions and position the mesh as directed before applying Stone-In-One.
Apply the pre-mixed Stone-In-One to the prepared, tack-coated area. Spread and lightly trowel to an even finish at the recommended 8–12mm depth. Approximate working time is 20 minutes, so work methodically in manageable sections.
Protect the new surface from rain and moisture. Allow at least 48 hours of dry weather after horizontal application. Cure times vary with temperature, humidity, surface conditions and application depth.
Once fully cured, clean the surface with soapy water and a medium-bristle brush. Jet washing can also be used after full curing.
For suitable loose material between 5–40mm, compact the surface, apply a thin Stone-In-One capping layer, then position two layers of SRM with the second layer angled slightly differently from the first. After the assembly has cured for 5 hours, apply the final Stone-In-One layer. Tack coat is not required.
Allow approximately half the coverage because this method uses two Stone-In-One layers and two layers of SRM to help build stability and strength over an inconsistent surface with gaps and voids. Tack coat is not required for loose stone or gravel.
Compact the loose stone or gravel as evenly as possible to create a firmer, more stable surface before applying the thin Stone-In-One capping layer.
Apply a thin layer of Stone-In-One directly over the compacted loose stone. Spread and lightly trowel it to create a flat, even capping layer before positioning the SRM.
Position the first layer of SRM over the thin Stone-In-One capping layer, then place the second SRM layer over it at a slightly different angle. Follow the supplied mesh installation instructions.
Apply the final layer of Stone-In-One over the cured build-up. Spread and lightly trowel the material to create an even decorative finish.
LOOSE STONE & GRAVEL: EXTRA REINFORCEMENT FOR A STRONGER FINISH. This method uses two layers of Stone-In-One with two layers of SRM to help improve stability and durability across loose, uneven surfaces. Each kit includes 1m² of SRM, so allow approximately 2 kits per 1m² for the reinforced application. The additional material helps account for gaps and voids and build a more stable finish. Tack coat is not required. Suitable loose material: 5–40mm.
See how to apply Easihold Stone-In-One to suitable vertical surfaces.
Apply Stone-In-One to suitable, properly prepared vertical or inclined surfaces such as walls and planters. The supplied SRM is for horizontal applications only.
Select a suitable, stable vertical or inclined surface. Ensure it is clean, dry and free from dust, dirt and other contaminants.
Use a suitable roller, brush or tool to apply a thin, even layer of the supplied tack coat to the selected area. work in manageable sections or the Tack Coat will dry before the next step!
Apply Stone-In-One to the tack-coated surface using a trowel. Start at the lower section and work upwards, using firm, even pressure and manageable sections to create a consistent finish.
Protect the newly applied surface from rain and moisture. Allow 48–72 hours of dry weather for curing. Conditions and application depth can affect the time required.
Once fully cured, clean the surface with soapy water and a medium-bristle brush. Jet washing can also be used after full curing.
Enter your dimensions to estimate how many kits you need. Coverage is approximately 1m² per kit on suitable solid surfaces, or 0.5m² per kit on loose stone or gravel.
For a rectangular floor, patio or path, measure the length and width in metres.
Enter both dimensions above to calculate your requirements.
Coverage is approximate and varies with the substrate, preparation, application technique and finished depth. Recommended depth: 8–12mm. Apply between 5°C and 30°C in dry conditions and protect from rain and moisture during curing. Not suitable for driveways or vehicle traffic.
No. Easihold Stone-In-One is not suitable for driveways or vehicle traffic.
Yes. Once fully cured, Stone-In-One can support light to heavy foot traffic.
Yes, when Stone-In-One is applied to a suitable solid base, such as concrete. Surfaces applied over loose or unstable material are not suitable for supporting furniture. We recommend allowing at least one week before placing furniture or other objects on the surface. For furniture with isolated point loads, use protective caps or pads beneath the legs.
Yes. For suitable loose stone or gravel between 5 and 40mm, use the mesh-reinforced method: compact the surface, apply a Stone-In-One capping layer, position the supplied SRM reinforcement mesh following the installation instruction, then apply the final Stone-In-One layer. Tack coat is not required for this method. Allow approximately 0.5m² coverage per kit because this method uses two Stone-In-One layers (capping & top layer) and two lots of mesh reinforcement to help build stability and strength.
Stone-In-One is non-toxic. Always follow the application and curing instructions and allow the surface to fully cure before use.
The recommended removal method is currently being confirmed. Please contact Easihold for advice before attempting removal, as the appropriate approach may depend on the surface and installation.
We highly recommend allowing at least 48 hours of dry weather after horizontal application to help the system cure. For vertical applications, allow 48 to 72 hours of dry weather. Protect the newly applied surface from rain and moisture during curing.
For a second layer, wait until the top layer of the first coat has cured, usually around 4 to 6 hours. For the mesh-reinforced loose-stone method, follow the dedicated guide and allow 5 hours after applying the capping layer and positioning the second mesh before applying the final top layer.
When correctly applied to a suitable, free-draining base, a Stone-In-One surface can last up to 5 years.
Yes. Stone-In-One is UV stable and designed to withstand exposure to sunlight.
Stone-In-One should not be submerged in water for extended periods. Apply it to a suitable surface with effective drainage or run-off points to help prevent water-related breakdown.
Once fully cured, the surface can be cleaned with soapy water and a medium-bristle brush. Jet washing is also suitable after full curing. Hold the lance approximately 300mm from the surface and keep it at around a 45-degree angle to help avoid damage.
Stone-In-One has an unopened shelf life of 2 years.
Store Stone-In-One in a cool, dry place and protect it from freezing.
Once opened, Stone-In-One can be used for up to 2 months if it is re-lidded with the lid fully secured. Tack coat can also be reused if it is sealed sufficiently, for example by taping or folding over the pouch.
Yes. Weed killer can be used on a fully cured Stone-In-One surface. We do not recommend using it directly before or after application.
On a suitable solid base, one kit covers approximately 1m² at the recommended finished depth of 8 to 12mm. For loose stone or gravel, allow approximately 0.5m² per kit because the mesh-reinforced method uses two Stone-In-One layers. Actual coverage depends on the surface and application depth.
The top layer typically cures in around 4 to 6 hours, while the material underneath continues to strengthen. The full system generally takes around 24 to 48 hours to cure. Cure times vary with application depth, weather, temperature and humidity. Wait until the system is fully cured before walking on the surface.
Once application begins, the product has an approximate working time of 20 minutes, during which it can be trowelled and the aggregate can knit together. Work methodically in manageable sections to help achieve a consistent finish.
The recommended finished depth is 8 to 12mm. Application thickness affects curing time, and thicker applications may need longer to cure.
Apply Stone-In-One immediately after the tack coat because the tack coat can cure quickly. Work in small, manageable sections of approximately 0.3m². Tack coat is not required for the mesh-reinforced loose-stone method.
