The Top Hack to Make Garden Maintenance Easier This Fall
As the leaves start to fall, keeping your garden looking tidy can quickly become a never-ending job.
If you have loose gravel, decorative stones, or bark around your garden, you’ll know the struggle all too well. One minute you’re trying to blow or sweep away a pile of leaves, and the next you’re accidentally sending your stones everywhere too.
But what if you could make clearing leaves away much easier?
One simple garden hack is to use Easihold Rock & Mulch Binder to bond your stones together.
Once your stones are bonded, leaves can be blown or swept away without constantly disturbing your gravel, making those regular autumn garden clear-ups much quicker and easier.
“Now that I have stuck my stones together, I can’t imagine going back to leaf blowing stones together and making a mess!”
Why bond your stones before fall?
Loose stones can be a nightmare when it comes to autumn maintenance. Leaves become caught between the gravel, and trying to remove them can mean accidentally moving the stones at the same time.
Easihold helps hold your stones together, giving you a more stable surface while still allowing water to drain through.
That means when the leaves start piling up, you can simply blow or sweep across the surface and remove the debris without having to constantly rake your stones back into place.
It’s a small change that can make a surprisingly big difference to your garden maintenance routine.
How to use Easihold to prepare your garden for fall
1. Prepare your stones
Make sure your stones are clean, dry and free from leaves, dirt and debris before you begin.
2. Spray Easihold
Evenly spray Easihold over your stones, making sure the surface is well covered.
3. Compact the stones
Once sprayed, compact the stones to help create a firm, stable surface and bring the stones together.
4. Spray again
Apply a second coat of Easihold over the compacted stones to help strengthen the bond and improve durability.
5. Leave it to cure
Allow the area to fully cure before using it or carrying out maintenance.
With fall approaching, always check the forecast before applying Easihold. Do not apply Easihold if rain is expected within 48 hours of application.
Once cured, you’ll have a more stable surface that makes it much easier to blow or sweep leaves away without sending your stones everywhere🍂
